The partnership begins on 1 September 2026.

Both practices have spent their careers in the same corner of the industry: senior .NET architecture, Clean Architecture, and the kind of event-driven, domain-driven systems that have to keep running long after the first release. Bringing the two teams together means clients get more senior capacity without diluting the seniority — every engagement is still staffed by architects who have shipped systems at scale.

One team, forty years of architecture

The combined team brings 60 years in software development — 40 of them as .NET architects — across industries like retail, banking and telecom. That depth shows up in the decisions that don't make headlines — where to draw a bounded context, when a message queue earns its keep, how to retire a legacy integration engine without a big-bang rewrite. It's experience earned on real platforms, not slideware.

Architecting and building a Nordic fashion chain's .NET backend from the ground up

Two of our architects architected and built a Nordic fashion chain's entire .NET backend from the ground up — a portfolio of 34 unique applications spanning the retailer's digital and operational estate. It's one of the more complete examples we can point to of Clean Architecture applied consistently across a whole platform rather than a single service.

This was a platform under real load. Over the course of our involvement, the chain's revenue grew from SEK 1 billion to SEK 3 billion — a threefold expansion the architecture was built to carry, scaling with the business instead of throttling it.

A central part of that work was retiring BizTalk. Rather than carry a heavyweight, licence-bound integration engine forward, the team replaced it with a purpose-built solution on modern, open building blocks:

Retiring BizTalk wasn't a lift-and-shift. It was replacing an integration engine with a platform the team fully owns — in code, in tests, and in production.

The platform outlasted its original authors. When those two architects moved on after six years, the third took over responsibility for the architecture — and the estate kept expanding, with the application count climbing to 40.

Cloud POS, mirrored to the ERP system

The same platform underpinned a move to a new cloud point-of-sale solution. The integration mirrors data against the ERP system and drives order handling end to end — keeping stores, the commerce platform, and the ERP consistent as transactions flow through them. This is exactly the class of problem the MassTransit-based architecture was built for: many systems, many events, one authoritative flow.

RFID and international franchise

The platform's reach extended well beyond the point of sale. We built the integration against an external RFID system across every product in the chain's range, bringing item-level tracking to the whole estate.

And when the chain expanded its franchise operation into Iceland — opening four new stores — we designed the system that made the expansion possible.

Mobile BankID at the core

The same engineering runs through what the partnership builds today: compliance platforms where mobile BankID isn't bolted on — it's the foundation. Direct BankID integration at the highest assurance level provides identity, legally binding e-signatures under eIDAS, and an unbroken audit trail. Every module is built from the ground up for Swedish and European law — GDPR, the Companies Act, eIDAS, the Anti-Money-Laundering Act, the Patient Data Act — not ported from US tooling.

Solutions we build together

Under the Archio.labs brand, each module solves one regulatory problem, with BankID signing and Swedish legal grounding built in:

Archio.Health

FHIR R4 integration to medical-record systems in about 30 days instead of 18 months — with BankID-gated access. Patient Data Act, GDPR, EHDS-ready.

Archio.Brf

AI-driven housing-cooperative management — the whole flow from notice of meeting to BankID-signed, archived minutes. Housing Cooperatives Act, GDPR.

Archio.Whistleblower

Anonymous whistleblowing with a BankID-protected identity. EU Directive 2019/1937 and the Swedish Whistleblower Protection Act.

Archio.Books

A complete accounting system — not just a connector to one — with BankID attestation. Bookkeeping Act, BAS, K2.

Archio.Sign

BankID e-signing built into the whole platform — minutes, consents, KYC and contracts. eIDAS (EU 910/2014).

Archio.Consent

Consent management that holds up in court, confirmed with BankID. GDPR Art. 6–7, eIDAS.

Archio.Board

Digital board work with BankID-signed minutes, electronic voting and clause-level traceability. Companies Act, Housing Cooperatives Act.

Archio.Archive

GDPR long-term archiving with automatic erasure and an immutable audit trail — the hub the other products sign into. GDPR Art. 17.

These eight are live today — the first of a deliberately planned suite. The roadmap targets an initial 100 applications, one per regulatory requirement across Swedish and European law: from CSRD, CBAM and EUDR to NIS2, DORA and anti-money-laundering. Every module rests on the same mobile BankID and eIDAS foundation and the shared Archio.Core infrastructure — so the suite grows without each product reinventing identity, signing or the audit trail.

What this means for our clients

The partnership gives clients a single, senior team that has done this before — greenfield platforms, legacy modernization, integration-heavy retail and ERP landscapes — and does it with the same architectural discipline every time. If you have a system that needs to evolve, or an integration engine you'd rather not renew the licence on, we'd be glad to talk.
